It's your last chance to sign up for a fantastic professional development opportunity for organizational professionals this spring. 

PTSchool is our 6-session course that provides 'intrapreneurs' with the skills and tools necessary to develop a new program or initiative within your organization. This process allows your organization to minimize costs and risks while developing a new initiative, seed an internal culture of innovation and motivate your high-potential staff members. Over 700 professionals have been trained through PTSchool globally.

The course takes place in New York City during six three-hour sessions in the evenings and covers the following topics:

Tuesday, January 24, 2012: Visioning and Sharing Vision
Wednesday, February 15, 2012: Environmental Scanning and Knowing & Influencing Environment
Tuesday, March 13, 2012: Social Business Models
Wednesday, April 4, 2012: Prototyping and Assessment
Wednesday, April 25, 2012: Operations and Finance
TBD, May 2012: Pitching and Fundraising

The course is taught by PresenTense staff and/or certified PresenTense Trainers and includes access to tools and templates, workbooks and venture milestone assignments. PresenTense also works with the organization to identify a mentor for each professional or group of professionals in order to help integrate the new initiative into the organization.

PresenTense is opening its doors for applications for SocialStart Trainers in North America!

SocialStarters train community entrepreneurs and organizational professionals, providing them with skills and tools to launch innovative ventures to impact the Jewish community.

Ideal candidates are professionals or graduate students who enjoy speaking and presenting and are passionate about making the Jewish world a better place. Through PresenTense, SocialStarters have the opportunity to develop critical skills, gain visibility, access a dynamic network of innovators and earn supplementary income.

SocialStarters participate in a Trainers Course facilitated by PresenTense where they are trained in pedagogy, facilitation and venture development. Upon certification SocialStarters will have the opportunity to lead training sessions for PresenTense Community Entrepreneur Partnerships and Jewish organizations across North America.
