Encontrarse en la Diversidad

Encontrarse en la Diversidad is a training program focusin on human rights for youths betweenn the ages of 14 to 25. It was founded by Ariel Dorfman and Gabriela Schnook four years ago, and Barbara has been part of the team since last year. Encontrarse en la Diversidad aims to create a space to teach the value of diversity and its impact on daily life. The activities planned for the meeting focus on ideas such as the problems and implications of stereotypes, activism throughout history and in present times, the current situation of various groups that are part of the Argentine and Latin American society. The training involves reviewing policies, practices, beliefs and even personal and institutional resources which may conceal the denial of diversity.

The program spans 8 months and closes with shows, discussion panels with world-class panelists will help analyze topics like the media, education, sports, politics and their interaction with diversity.
