Afikim Foundation wants to give you interns
Dear friends,
A new initiative for North American university students and recent graduates (ages 20-22) is being launched by the Wolfson Foundation this summer.
120 highly motivated and talented students looking to enhance their resumes and advance their careers will be selected from a large pool of applicants to spend the summer in Israel studying and volunteering in professional settings related to their field of studies. These students are also unique in that they have a strong interest in exploring their Jewish roots and connection to Israel. We are turning to you with an offer to receive one (or more) of these students as volunteers this summer.
The benefits for your organization of hosting an intern will be great! You will notice the benefits not only in the additional talented manpower, but also in the areas of public relations, employee motivation and morale, and general improvement of your office's atmosphere and efficiency. The benefits for the interns themselves and for strengthening Israel-Diaspora ties will be of much significance as well.
We are looking for half-day internships for 6 weeks (the students are in a learning program from 09:00 until 13:00). The program runs from June 7th until July 22nd.
If you would like to enjoy the opportunity of taking a volunteer, please tell us what qualities the intern would need to posses to be most productive in your organization, and provide a short description of the tasks the intern could perform for you.
Gratefully,
Yechezkel Stelzer
Program Coordinator
